I haven't really been following this Amazon Appstore, what exactly will be happening: Is it a case of a app you download that acts just like the Android Marketplace, or is it a web browser type store?

Also will the Amazon Appstore have only apps that aren't on the Android Marketplace or will they have the same apps with just a few "exclusives"?

I won't be using anything other than the Android Marketplace. There's enough hassle and confusion as it is without yet more layers.

Looks like web-based and any app can appear on it.

It'll be interesting to see how it comes along, especially with regards to the stance they take on security and similar issues.

With the openess of android, and google's dedication to making the OS better to increase their revenue, this can only work out for the better
