God Microsoft, sort it out. What use is the software when windows already comes bundled with 2 bleeding media players? People need a hardware player much more than they need a 3rd bleeding software player. No rational thinking person is going to be rushing out to buy a WP7 handset, especially when the updates keep bricking their phones, to think otherwise is wishful thinking. Then again, I suppose nobody likes their PMP locking up, either.

In fairness, not one update bricked the phones, the battery had to be removed and because its not apple, thats easy.

However a lot of the press started repeating the same story again and again until it became fact.

Also its a joke that 10% of their users were not modeled by the QA.

Maybe if they'd released Zunes elsewhere than just the US they would have sold more..

I agree with mini in that they should have marketed it to people outside the us. I heard plenty of good things about the zune. With such a limited market they have only themselves to blame really.
