I would say at least in the consumer notebook sector, Acer's niche is in the "sub-£500" range and the kind of customer who would be buying a "sub-£500" notebook, is quite likely to be feeling the financial pinch at the moment.. just a thought really.
Another thing at least for me, is the feel of Acer keyboards just feels too flimsily at the moment. I'd rather go for a Samsung at a lower spec for the same price simply on the basis of build quality.
look Acer, if you had an 11.6" E-350 netbook you could sell to me then maybe i would have purchased one from you, but you are making it AWFULLY DIFFICULT TO DO THAT right now
