I buy Apple because it just works.

Anyone who relies on a smartphone as their only source of alarms for anything as vital as work has only themselves to blame. Buy an alarm clock!
Re: News - iPhone clock glitch strikes again
I wonder if a trained Moose would be a good alarm clock?
Realises Moose cannot be trained!

My alarm clock doesn't understand DST, either.
Re: News - iPhone clock glitch strikes again
Mine does :D
But given that the date the clocks change if well advertised, it doesn't take a genius to put the clock forward when they go to bed on the Saturday evening, ready for the "real" time on Sunday morning. And if you're still having problems on the Monday morning, then you've got bigger problems than being an hour late for work...
Re: News - iPhone clock glitch strikes again

Re: News - iPhone clock glitch strikes again
so the iphone is a terrible at being a mobile phone and an alarm clock... why not just buy an ipod touch?

You got it entirely wrong there!
It is Android phones which are cheap, buggy, unreliable and are general rubbish. They will also lose market share like a lead balloon when people see the light and get an iPhone even if they can only afford a £50 phone.
Re: News - iPhone clock glitch strikes again
If you don't continuously re-mortgage your house to buy the latest Apple gear, you're just not cool enough, anyway.
Re: News - iPhone clock glitch strikes again
My alarm clock adjusted for DST too :)
Kindof handy, seeing as how although I knew the clocks had gone forwards, I totally somehow didn't realise that it might actually affect what time I got up. Probably because my exams are over and I'm now a lazy bum sunbathing and waiting for results.. apart from the odd morning commitment. :)
Re: News - iPhone clock glitch strikes again
my iPhone both updated itself when the clocks went forward and the alarm went off when it was supposed to
