Works out more expensive for me if i switch tariff. Bummer as i have unlimited data at the moment as well which i would lose. There simplicity contracts have also shot up because of the new data fee's taking 1gb of data, 300 mins and unlimited texts to £25.50. As my contract ends in April it looks like i will be moving to Three's £15 sim only plan who have had tethering unlocked since day 1.

Hmm, would work out reasonably for me. That said last time I was with O2 they kept charging me after I ended my contract, so not sure they'll get my business again

Every tariff refresh they seem to be removing value, I'm glad I stuck to my old Simplicity 600mins/500texts with unlimited data bolt-on.

If I were to take out the equivalent tariff today or upgrade I'd lose unlimited data, 1 roam text/1 MMS = 4 text from inclusive bundle, free voicemail and free paper billing and be charged more for a data bundle.

With them removing services like 1471 and talking clock for example I believe they are becoming the new FT Orange.

Holy poop, a telco had a blinding moment of common sense! Tethering fees is a bloody farce to begin with, you already pay for the data flow for goodness sake.

Which plan's that? Not the one plan presumably, IIRC that's £25/month.

We've introduced more choice by continuing to offer as much as 1GB per month for our heaviest users
Lol, I used that last week.
Incidentally, do mobile ISPs only monitor downloads? I can't find any evidence they worry about my uploads.
