It does look good, and I do want to buy this game, but my overall impression (given the various trailers already released) is what a good job their marketing dept are doing - still 6 months until release, yet it's making weekly headlines already!

Agreed. With this level of hype it's hard to imagine it will be anything other than a slight disappointment. I will still buy it (and hopefully love it), but from past experience games with too much hype also seem a bit of a let down.
