Re: News - Llano/Sabine offerings fleshed out

this chart is greatly at odds with previous ones which make no mention of 240 shader dual-cores, as odd as the rumours that pegged the top-end versions with 480 shaders.

two questions that need clarification soon:
    1. Is the dual-core a separate SKU, or is it merely a cut-down quad? I presume the former as the GPU portions have different name; beavercreek and winterpark.
    2. Does the top version in fact have 6x 80 shader clusters with all launch products having a max of five enabled? Likewise the dual; does it have 3x 80 shader clusters.

It looks both the dual core and quad core mobile Llano processors appear to be the same size:

    ah cheers.

i just lost interest in the dual-core sku, as i hate disabled products.

the question now is; how small a chassis can one fit the 35W quad/400-shader SKU in?
