That`s what you get for not swapping that faulty HDD Mesh, I warned you...
I thought they where long gone.

Too bad. Competition is a great thing.
Slow hexus I posted this yesterday lol
Shame really, they was one of my point of calls when I was looking at my laptop.
I wouldn't have touched them with a bargepole. Were good when they first started way back but there have been waaaay too many horror stories.
They had a good run, and were vastly superior to some mainstream groups. Loss of competition and a reducing pool of known names is a bad thing.
Didn't find a niche...
Solid foundation? A brand that you've just acquired the rights to? Right...Originally Posted by Rezi Jafari

I used to recommend them to folks who asked "where can I get a PC from", good machines for reasonable prices and very good support. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line they decided to cut corners and the machine and support quality dipped.Snapped up by obscure distie, administrators blame tablets.
These days I just say "buy a Dell" (although the last machine I bought for someone was a Leonovo).
Sorry to see Mesh go though on a nostalgia level.
Although Mesh were regularly panned on various fora for their poor customer support I nver had a problem with them. I have had two systems from them in recent years which were (and in one case still is) very well built and specified PCs.
In fact the current one (an i750 CS) is particularly solid - robust, well built, fast for its spec and very reliable; in the best part of 20 months I have never had to reinstall or recover the system and indeed I prefer it to a nominally higher spec home build which has all sorts of configuration and stability problems.
On balance I think I will miss them, along with Evesham.
Honestly can't say I'm surprised, someone in the family ordered a PC from them a few months back, they were told it would take 5-10 days to deliver. It took them 8 weeks to deliver it, and then they forgot to supply the monitor which took another 5 weeks !
Yeah, the mesh we have at work is so basic and nothing special, ASRock mobo, cheap PSU etc... No stand out feature's or design. They simply had their name on their chassis, everything else could be bought off the shelf and built by any techie for cheaper.
I'm sure this is the second time. Last time was a management buy out or something??? or im just confusing that with someone else
I thought MESH was already long gone too! My last (and only) PC from them was an AMD Athlon XP 3200+ with 1GB DDR RAM and a Geforce FX 5600 GPU... It was quite reliable, but all the components (except the CPU at the time) were cheap branded, low end parts. It would have costed much less to build it myself.
