Half-resolution SBS just like sky :(
Never realised that Freeview HD was available in 3d. I would presume that BBC HD in freesat should in theory also be able to receive this 3D broadcast...
Small correction, you do not need a HD subscription to watch BBC One HD or BBC HD you get these for free with any sky subscription, you do need a HD compatible Sky Box, which is supplied as standard from Sky.
Hope BBC are testing for viewing numbers. I doubt that many of the Tennis viewers will even be aware of the 3D broadcast and those who are aware, I doubt many care or have the equipment to view in 3d.
Personally I want 3D TV to die a quick death - Although I was playing in a shop a 3d rally game on PS3 yesterday and it was pretty cool.

Every time I'm in an electronics store and they have a 3D TV set up, I take a look through the glasses. It's pretty neat, but nothing actually makes me want to own one.
I love gadgets and technology, as you can probably guess (I'm on these forums right?), but I have absolutely no burning desire to go 3D. The only reason I would get a 3D TV was if it also happened to be the best 2D TV I could get for the money.
