Has someone been using voice recognition?Another particularly use full ability of Opera 11.5 is password synchronisation via Opera Link, bringing the browser up to date with its alternatives. A feature called Speed Dial enables extensions to be included in the new tab page, mixed in with frequently visited websites, giving quick asses to, for examine, weather or stock updates.
Were not convinced that version 11.5 will prove the version of Opera that take sit from anything more than a niche share of the browser market. Nonetheless die-hard fans will no doubt be pleased with the improved speed and stability it purports to offer, if not its new features. And besides, the really good stuff will likely be replicated by Firefox and Chrome (and maybe even Internet Explorer) soon enough, anyway.
Evidently; fixed - ty.
Die hard user since version 3.0. Last truly spectacular "Big Red O" was in version 6.05. Since then every new version brings more useless additions. And for me personally Opera ended on version 10.56/11.01. Few things were later changed which really get on my nerves [shell].
At the moment Opera is poor Chrome [] clone with the appetite for resources on par with utterly inferior Internet Exploder. If this is the future of Opera then ...
Ummmmm....... WHY? I thought Opera had died and gone to the software heavens? Especially now we already have Google Chrome!
Probably just a few of us die hards left - but I love it
Been using Opera since 9.something and really love it.
Using it on a USB stick just now courtesy of www.opera-usb.com very handy. Saves me using IE 6 or 7 on outdated corporate PCs
I'm viewing this site in Opera. I like it more than most other browsers now.
*In a wise, story-telling voice*
"And the madman raised his voice and cried, 'Opera is dead! Opera is dead! And we are its murderers!'.......and so he ran off madly into the net universe, shouting wildly and causing great disturbances."
What I love about Opera is that despite using an ancient Dell L800r with a pentium 3 and just 384mb of ram. it works fine. But the best thing is, my screen is not full of unwanted annoying adverts using up bandwidth and distracting you. I really hate paying BTyahoo for "UP To 20MB" wich only works at 50KB a second on good day, only to find half my screen full of CRAP. I pay for internet access and not for other peoples advertising space ! Opera is great try it.
I love the improvements to speed dial that have been made recently, got 49 atm.
