This is great news for the future :D
THe ability to install custom roms on my android is a big thing for me and hopefully this will make it so we have better roms in the future :D

I hope Vodafone UK allow the update through in good time, so that then I can de-Vodacrap my phone... All I want is Android+Sense 3, none of the Vodafone crap and not be reliant on them for updates!
There are two ways people have something they "Own" it or they are "Loaned/Rented" it. To many modern electronic goods seem to forget who the "Owner" of the object is, and make it behave like it is Owned by someone else and just Loaned/Rented. Hopefully this will go some way to readdressing the balance. Some how I don't see this happening with apple products!
