All they have to do is change their minds. As i said before, with 270,000 tablets out there, developers will want to develop and people will be telling their mates etc. After all, it's a great os.

I think it would be a bonehead move after this to not try and take advantage of the obvious interest this fire sale has generated.
Totally agree with cameronlite
HEXUS FOLDING TEAM It's EASY
I was amazed when my missus was up and operational web+mail in under 10 minutes with her new TouchPad (and she's a self confessed luddite). I'm a big Android fan, but it was weird seeing how quick she "got" the UI. I can't see the HP management issuing a "we've been convinced by the enthusiasm - so we've changed our minds - PS ... here's TouchPad2", so the only hope for the OS is if someone else picks up the torch so casually tossed in the dumpster.
Of course a cynic may argue that killing webOS off after 40 or so days was just one of many boneheaded moves on the part of the HP board, (ahem, like paying 10 bil for Autonomy). Certainly I can't see the point of selling off PSG.
Adroid is already quite well supported though, it has plenty of apps a big userbase and loads of developers. WebOS is fantastic, but until it gets anywhere near the kind of level Android is at everyone is going to look in that direction.
Even at £250 for a 16GB model they are still pretty good value, the mad rush to buy them earlier on the week was just insane and after an hour or so i just couldnt waste any more time on it.
Tempted to either pic one up off ebay or just stump the £250.
One thing the firesale did prove, people want a tablet and are not that bothered about it being apple, they just cant justify spending apple money on anything other than apple. If that makes sense?
