Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
I believe HDMI 1.4 is only needed for the "best" 3D formats (ie. highest resolutions for each of the two frames). Some of the 3D formats (possibly side-by-side, although it is a while since I checked) use the standard bandwidth etc but composite the stereoscopic frames into one frame, resulting in loss of resolution. However, some say this loss is much less noticable than one would think...
These "lesser" formats are possible on older HDMI interfaces, since essentially the output is the same as normal - the TV just has to recognise the format and handle it appropriately.
As for non-HDMI support... I don't believe any TVs support 3D over anything else. I suspect it could be achieved over the non-digital connections (in a similar lossy way as described above) but the TV would need to support that, and I don't *think* any TVs support 3D over analogue. About the only 3D effects possible for analogue inputs are the artificial ones that some TVs support to "3D-ise" 2D content.
Everyone's talking about using TV's with this, anyone got any ideas on whether "3D capable" monitors would work with this. I'm not that bothered for 3D myself, but my curiosity was piqued as to whether this monitor would work http://www.scan.co.uk/products/23-lg...2-50000001-5ms. Pretty much all the others seem to be reliant on "NVidia Vision", so I'm guessing that they're PC only, plus LG uses passive glasses, which strikes me as more comfortable than the active ones that Viewsonic etc use.
In order to receive 3D signals, you'll need a 3D capable HDTV, 3D glasses, and a high speed 1.4 HDMI cable. If you use an audio/video receiver, it will have to be able to pass 3D signals. I had to stop using my Pioneer Elite THX receiver because it wouldn't pass 3D signals to my 65 inch Mitsubishi 3D HDTV.I use an Onkyo 3D THX receiver now. Thanks,
