I would like to have some 8GB modules even at 10ns latency. I just hope that they are affordable.
Nice, been waiting ages for these, been hitting the RAM wall a lot recently... Pretty sure those timings can be brought down a little too.

edit: Ouchie that's £175 in the 'States... wanted 4, not any more!.
jesus what kind of work do you do to need 32gb RAM ? that's some serious workload you got bud
/me buys 6.
Of course, most won't have much need for 16GB+ of RAM, but it wasn't long ago that people were wanting 2GB and 4GB modules, so it's always welcome to see higher densities.
The 12GB of RAM in my machine isn't often being taxed, but it's nice to have everything in RAM so when you open a program or game hours later, it's still in memory, no matter what you've been doing. Still, I guess that side of things will become less of an issue as SSDs become more commonplace.
I rarely run VMs at home (usually just images of my work servers that I'm testing something out on), but as Mr JT says above, it's always lovely having plenty of RAM to share around.
