It's incredible the frustration that it's causing people.
What's worse is them going quiet and it just being sporadic.
I think the worst thing is that it's somehow the IT Department's fault. It's almost 'I don't care if it's a problem at RIM, I need you to fix it now!'
And that kind of thing...
Mine is pretty close to being up-to-date now. It's taken long enough.
I have a BB...and I gotta say im not sure what the fuss is about.
Ohhhh noooeeeeeesssss I can't use BBM!!!!!!!! ITS THE END OF DAYZZZZZZ
You know...you can still text and call people! The good ol' fashioned way...The outage hasn't affected me at all really...
No BBM fine that isnt too much of an issue. No internet or email access however!
Well how did the world go by before we had email? Pick up the damn phone!
Its not the BBM which worries me - we deal with companies all over the planet - and I personally am on email from about 6am through to 11pm so I want to see what is going on.
I think this highlights the fact that relying on 1 way of acquiring email is not good enough. I also agree with .havoc, it may be more time consuming and disruptive but phones can serve as a good temporary solution to the problem.
There's apparently an Blackberry emulator for Android - it's called flight mode :)

Definitely, there is a pretty massive lesson to be learned here. This could be the straw which breaks the camels back for blackberry and their loyal fanbase, its been crumbling for some time but a clear flaw in their infrastructure is something a lot of companies cannot afford to risk.
I'm waiting to see if Apple's network will go down too...
I mean, I'd love to see the headline "Blackberry and Apple crumble"
Your wish maybe granted!

Just imagine if it involved the Orange network here too... or is that too much fruit? lol

The metro missed a chance there, in the actual paper, this and a blackberry update were on the same page...
