Product seems to have potential, but they can't put on a PR show like Apple, can they? The conversation was very clumsy.

That looks fantastic. I was mulling over the idea of selling my iPad and grabbing a Transformer, but I think I'll wait on the Prime. One of the things I wasn't too hot on was the thickness, the Transformer is thicker than the 1st iPad even without the keyboard dock. This looks like it's thin enough to hit the mark! Plus powerful to boot, should make a nice W8 laptop/tablet hybrid some time next year
Great naming scheme haha
Would love to see how android performs with the new Tegra 3. It was still sluggish with Tegra 2 at times
I own both, iPad certainly felt nicer to hold but find I use my transformer more now as Android has gotten faster (was a bit buggy on release now really good and speedy).
What iPad had going for it was thickness and responsiveness but with Transformer Prime + Android 4.0 there's no question imo unless an iPad3 comes out.
Looks like a nice bit of kit there. Slick.
Same here. Now if they were to offer a limited time trade-in deal on the old Transformers, then my attitude would be "where do I sign?". As it is though, there's no way I could persuade SWMBO that I need another "toy" @ 400-quid plus ... more's the pity. :'(
Just have to continue to "slum it" with the old one (which is what I'm typing this text on at the moment).
amazing piece of high tech engineering
i am already competing for one on its (official forum), you can win this tablet there!
