im definitely getting one of these...
I'm not, certainly not at that price, I've presuming thats for the top of the line 3g effort with keyboard/dock and other bits..
Hell yes!Presumably armed with Android 4.0 and superior hardware, is ASUS really about to attempt to take on iPad giant, Apple?
Not sure about iPad3, but got to say that the current ET101 makes the iPad2 look pretty damn overpriced. Okay, mine was a whole £6 more expensive (from the local Comet) than an iPad2 from the Apple Store, but then again the old Transformer is a good deal more capable. And I'll argue that with any iPad fanboy.
Would love to be able to "trade up" for this new one - but I don't see Asus doing that. :'( Hopefully the £537 is for the full bells-and-whistles 32/64GB version with 3G and the "budget" 16GB WiFi-only one will be a lot more reasonably priced, say around the £400 mark.
That said, at the moment I'd just be happy for ICS to appear on the current Transformer like (according to reports) Asus have said it will.
Competition in a pretty dominated market is always a good thing, especially for the consumers.
