I wanted to wait for OLED to be reasonable before getting a desk mount and new monitor but I'm not willing to wait 2-5 years for that. I'll wait patiently for the Dell U2412M to go on special.

Wonder what resolution this beast will run, if samsung's latest panels are anything to go by oleds no longer have a lack of pixel density.

The killer with oleds will always be power consumption, they start off low on small panels but scale linearly with size. Whilst lcd's and plasma's start off higher but dont ramp up anywhere near as much with size.

From the usage in phones / tablets it seem that above 6" lcd's use less power than amoled's (galaxy note vs tab 7.1)
