Are they using an HD3000 or HD4000 IGP??
7.1 in a tablet? Really?
7.1 is nothing TBH. Anything with an HDMI port should theoretically be able to support it....and there have been a number of phones with HDMI recently.
The biggest "WTF?" for me is the i7 CPU!
Its probably one of low voltage Core i7 dual cores.
from the people who never quite brought you the Switchblade... This is just another one of those isn't it?
you mean the switchblade that's in production at the moment?
We was discussing this in our house today. Concept is good, but where it fits in the market, and what graphical punch it packs are the key questions
Very curious about this one... surely it can't claim to be a genuine gaming platform without a dedicated GPU, but that's gonna make it bulky, heavy and probably very hot. Not ideal for a portable device!
Also, I like the concept of the handles/controllers for gaming but unless they're removable it's going to be useless as a general purpose tablet.
I'm thinking of this:

What the switchblade concept became
I think the point about 7.1 is more what on earth are you going to connect it to?
What would be good is dolby virtual headphone.
Also you can't help but think that Fusion might provide a better balanced option here unless they have some sort of discreet graphics going on.
