Still no compelling reason to buy if you already have sandy bridge P67/Z68 IMO. I guess as those boards go end of line, these'll take over.

It's not like PCI-E 3.0 is setting the world alight with new kit for it that can take advantage of it....

Maybe. But if you're buying new (or in a few weeks and can hold on) I'd probably opt for the Z77 over Z68 if the price premium is around ~£20 for an equivalent board, don't forget you will be getting 2x PCI-e x16 2.0 with IVB processors as well.

    But as you've pointed out, i may have a look around for a 7970 PCI-e 3 vs 2.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
