Nope.
The games, the console, and necessary accessories cost too much.
+1 - not until it has a major price drop!
Never been much of a handheld gamer, hardly played any handheld games since pokemon yellow on my gameboy pocket. And now I'd just use my android phone if I wanted to do handheld gaming.
Nope. Not a chance. As a child pacifier I'm sure it'll work wonderful for parents, but I'd sooner go touchscreen gaming on a smartphone when I'm on the go, and I'm sure I'd find better ways of entertaining myself when I'm not at home gaming on my nice and powerful PC.
Nope
No intentions of buying one but I think it will sell well. The 3DS is problem is the small screen and the fact a 2D image is better IMO.
The article is about talking about the demand for hand held gaming consoles. I don't think the 3DS struggling to sell is down to the lack of demand...
Nope as others have mentioned my android phone is good enough (I'm sure the vita is far more powerful but on such a small screen does it really make a difference?).
Nintendo's problem with the 3DS was the initial price, but like said once the price dropped it sold well.
We all know Sony like to charge a premium for their products, regardless if they are actually any good.
I see this being a huge fail and will just add to Sony's portfolio of device failures.
Just to add that again, this is overpriced and not what people seem to want at the moment...
I'd imagine that people will just game on their Android phones...
Don't think its helped there is the Android phone with the Playstation branding as well (Xpreia play?).
Xperia Play is discontinued though, ready for the Vita
now that I'm older, wiser, poorer and dumber, my android phone will suffice...
(yes, wiser and dumber at the same time - aren't I silly...)
