Monocle-style (secondary) display for iPhone6? Samsung Galaxy S4?

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

Love it, I now actually want my next phone to be disguised as an old fashioned monocle.

With a pair of these on glasses you can get a true 3d display with high res, no eyestrain headache etc and with v-low power consumtion. Who needs a big screen monitor with a set of those?

"Obviously the resolution drops if you want more than monochrome, to just 1.3 megapixels in full 16-million color."
    Important information the article missed.

They said that on Engadget too, but I can't see it on the original source.

It's not entirely clear from it but what it's trying to say is full colour is SXGA while monochrome is 2560x2048. Makes sense really, since you need 3 or 4 x the number of pixels for full colour as you do monochrome.

Yeah, I saw that, but it really isn't clear, it reads like there are four versions. But I guess that doesn't actually make any sense no I read it again
