Maybe, but I'm waiting for a more powerful AMD graphics card
Maybe, but I'm waiting for a cheaper AMD graphics card
Not yet, I'll need to see what NVIDIA can offer first
People still play games on PCs?

I'm waiting to see what the HD7870 & HD7850 prices and benckmarks are before deciding on whether to get one or just by a HD6870
Waiting for a BF3 fix. I'd be all over a fancy 7970 if it didn't have performance issues in the one game that I am mostly playing currently.
Unfortunately for AMD, the longer that fix takes, the greater chance I'll sit and wait to see what Kepler brings to the table.
AMD really need to start working closely with developers in the same way and scale as nVidia does.

I'm not really up to speed, I've got a 4890, but might be interested in updating to the newer equivalent, that or a better card inthe series below...
i want a 7970, just not willing to drop more than £350 on one.
i give it three months............
Disappointed with the performance in BF3, so bought a GTX 580 & another SSD instead !
Happy days !!!
7950 is a solid contender, beating the 580 even in bf3 (with pee easy overclocks) is more power efficient i.e cooler and less expensive to run... has eyefinity as normal and AMD drivers always more reliable than Nvidias i found.
However im sitting waiting, interesting to see if Nvidia rumours are correct or not, regardless ill make my decision a month or two after kepler release. Heck i may just keep my 460 and wait till the amd 8000 and nvidia 800 as that should be a year away and for AMD it would provide a significant improvement as its a totally new design for them so improvements will be coming thick and fast.
Hmm interesting year me thinks!
Thirded, I switched over to ATI/AMD with the 5870 and now have two of them in xfire.
Whilst quality wise their their drives have become a lot better than they used to be (this being one of the reasons for switching to the 5870 after buying Nvidia cards for a number of years), the speed at which they reach such quality is sadly lacking.
Skyrim and BF3 both immediately spring to mind of recent games which both had certain long lasting xfire driver issues which should have been fixed with a few days of release or even, some would demand, by release day!
Nvidia is still ahead in this department and im therefore waiting to see what they have to offer as, if the hardware is right, id be prepared to pay a smidgen more to know the drivers are more likely to be ready on the day I want to play new games.
Will wait about 18 months until i can get a 7950 2nd hand for less than £100. I might actually go NV this time as I keep going back and forth. Its not like mining is still in fashion and quite possibly the new architecture is not going to provide the right kind of grunt.
I've never bought a card from team red, not because I'm an nvidia faboy, it's just worked out that way. Currently hanging on to my GTX 460 until some more demanding titles arrive.
Absolutely not interested in BF3, and I think GCN/compute like this is exactly the way things will be going in the future, so colour me very very interested in the 7950, which I think is a stellar card. Just waiting for early adopter prices to burn off a bit. The 4870 has served me extremely well in the meantime.
They're nice but not enough to make me part with my water cooled 4870. There is still nothing it can't really do. Would need a bigger monitor to push it harder
I think you have no choice but be interested in the 7xxx series if you run multi-monitor... why nvidia cant sort out multiple screens off one card properly is beyond me: a second gpu to add a 3rd screen, when your gpu already has 4 outputs? Stupid!
Am missing this round of upgrades as this is not APPRECIABLY faster than my watercooled 480s. They're feeling like quite a good investment as I've had them 12+months and 2 of them in sli is still fairly high end.
Fairly...
If you're including BF3, you must be having a laugh
MadduckUK has had microstutter, lag spikes, and all manner of problems with his ATI cards in BF3, whereas I've had the occasional green flash on screen and that's it.
NVIDIAs drivers are well ahead of AMDs in all areas IMO.
It's the one reason why I don't want to move from NVIDIA.. I want to play games when they're released, not when AMD decide to pull their finger out.
