Re: Features - QOTW: Do you enjoy the 3D experience?
I don't like the way cinema is literally forcing us to watch 3D. Our Vuew cinema keeps going on about how Incr3Dible it is. Well, it give my GF headaches and I feel it's not natural enough.
We couldn't see Immortals or John Carter because they ONLY showed them in 3D. The cinema chains seem to think everyone loves it and it's the best thing since Colour. Seem to me they didn't ask their customers.
Possibley the only ones who don't mind it is the young kids, as their youthful eyes can adapt, and haven't had 40 years of looking at cinema in one way.
No 3D telly for us. Not for a long time. And not until telly gets rid of those adaptive glasses.

Same deal with our local Odeon - although I suppose if you've got a limited number of screens, and you can charge "premium" (i.e. ripoff!) prices for 3D, then I can see why the cinema chains love 3D.
One thing that bugs me is the trend towards "retrofitting" 3D - i.e. Star Wars (the good trio), and Titanic (not that I want to see that in 2D or 3D!) to existing films. How long before some muppet trots out a 3D version of the The Artist (wanted to see that, but didn't get time to)?
