Not bad. Pity they don't sell enclosures without drives. Also it seems like it's impossible for user to replace HDD without voiding the warranty and jeopardising it's properties.

Problem is, like he said, it's more of a warranty than an unbreakable drive. In most cases it will survive, in any other situations they will pay up to $2500 to get it forensically recovered.Quote:

I personally thought they were excellent - I took apart the portable drive and it's a pretty clever system inside
I have to say, I really like the idea of bolting it to the floor next to a server or something. The idea of having a real-time backup solution with the speed and reliability of something onsite that will be sitting there in full working order after everything else in the room has just melted is great.
Good idea and useful when combined with the data recover service. I love how he says on the price around $200 or £200... nice conversion again for the UK i see or was he caught off guard?:D.
Thankfully my data doesnt have that much value, if i had a flood or a fire here id be more worried about my actual systems and other items so i wouldnt buy one of these but if i was in the situation where it was important it would be on my short list.
