Worst investment ever. Kingston Grey 2x4 kits by two for around $80 will do nearly as much as this kit (priced around $180 I guess). Increase in any application will be minimal.

But there will be an improvement, which is the whole point, some people will pay a lot more for a mere 2% performance increase.

Although if you was spending that much on RAM for your iGPU you'd be better off going discrete.

CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."

That's true. Some people need not to know about value. They buy things because they can.

True that. Also, I am yet to see Llano board supporting those frequencies and making a good use of that.

And companies make these things because people will buy them.

G.Skill will also, most likely, see increased sales in their lower end RAM sets too. Companies make the best of the best, so they can make a good name for themselves, which then helps them shift the stuff at the lower end where the real money is made.
