1024x768 minimum? No chance of reflashing my Acer Aspire netbook to Windows8 (screen res 1024x600). Another reason to dislike that Metro nonsense (Unity for Windows in my book).

Windows 8 will work nicely for me on a tablet. Seriously considering it for my HPTC.
BUt for my desktop I will wait for a grown up version because windows 8 is the CBBC version
Yep, but aren't we all suppose to be going to tablets anyway - after all that's why Apple didn't do netbooks.
On the upside, maybe this is a good opportunity for a decent Linux distro (Ubuntu Pangolin?) to replace the current very limited Windows7 installs on this class of device.
