Nothing sparks as "awesome" in that list of what appears to be general updates.

I think considering it is a free OTA update, any TF Prime owner should be very happy that Asus is moving their products forward in terms of functionality and stability much faster than any other Android OEM. The likes of Samsung / Moto / HTC could learn a lot from the open and honest support that Asus delivers to it's customers along with the timely updates.

One very happy ICS-totting original TF101 owner here...

I'm going to agree with what the president of the UK chapter of the Asus fan club says above...

Joking aside, (and as another very happy TF101 owner), I wonder whether Asus could "back port" any of these TF201 updates to the older '101 model. Would certainly go some way to perpetuating the reputation for excellent support that Asus have for their Android gear. It's that kind of thing that might even persuade me to buy a padFone if the price isn't daft.

Padfone looks like a great concept, but Personally I'd be waiting for "Version 2"...

The Prime is an awesome piece of kit anyway and these updates only show that the company is looking after owners , and not just keeping everything for a new model , and i am not a fanboy either, just love gadgets and this is a very good one.

Other sites are suggesting that Face-Unlock will also be included...

Oh, and I'm not really an Asus fanboi, i've only got the TF and an Asus gfx card (which I won!)... I have a Motorola phone.

Hmm, fingers crossed that we see some of these updates coming to the old TF101 - can't see a technical reason why they couldn't be, and doing this would be good PR.

I've some respect for them as a company - big believer in their motherboards. I bought the Transformer because it was "different" enough to pique my interest (was toying with the idea of an iPad at the time) and it's turned out to be a superb piece of kit - the only system I use more is my (Linux) laptop - and I'm finding more and more situations where it's handy.

Still not that keen on the catch design (needs too much force to dock the tablet for my liking) and the charging arrangement (cable's a little on the short side).
