Yawn already.. Haven't even played last part. Bet you going to be same engine just slightly modified. Waiting for Far Cry 3 though, that's a jewel.

Crysis 2 MP was insanely fun. Hopefully they can recreate it with better AC.

Looking forward to this :)
But didn't Prophet die at the start of Crysis 2 to be replaced with the unknown soldier?

"Left with no other choice since he himself has been infected by the Manhattan virus, Prophet gives Alcatraz his suit, the futuristic and high-tech Nanosuit 2.0. He then kills himself so that the Nanosuit will stop associating itself with him and be able to assimilate with Alcatraz."
So how is Prophet in Crysis 3? Typo?

Xeons and Multi GPUs at the ready....
Crysis 2 with the DX11 pack was a good game. Not great, but one of the few I'd consider actually spending some cash on.

Alcatraz was technically dead in Crysis 2, the suit took over his body to keep him alive that's why he never speaks, and at the end you find out Prophets conscious had been controlling the suit. That is why at the end when Karl Ernst Rasch ask you "who are you", you reply with "They call me Prophet." If you read Crysis Legion, it has interviews with Prothet/Alcatraz in it set after the events of Crysis 2, he speaks in prophets voice but it is computerised because it is coming from the suit not Alcatraz.

This reminds me, I still haven't finished Crysis Warhead.
Hold up, there's a Crysis 2 as well?
Damn you Steam sales, damn you.

Crysis 3 releasing in 2013***
*** First to be released for PS3/XBOX360. Will be released on PC last
*** Will contain DX 9 graphics on all platforms. Gamers will complain and then DX11 patch will be released so that sales losses for the PC platform can be reversed.
Pfff... not getting my money after ripping me off for Crysis2

Crysis 2 was a great game :)

Still not got Crysis 2 myself, as I wasn't all that amazed by what I saw - this just looks like Crysis 2 with just a few extra trees stuck amongst the skyscrapers.

Re: News - Crysis 3 slated for 2013, returns to a changed New York City
Can't beat the first Far Cry, the best game Crytek have done in my opinion. Now Crysis 2 is budget enough i might get it. A shame so few games use the CryEngine, and the ones that do tend to be MMO or uncompleted projects. I did find with the first Crysis games, you only had one route to take to get around the missions, so everyone was pretty much going to have the same experience.

Available on Steam? No? Then like Crysis 2, I'm not interested.

Re: News - Crysis 3 slated for 2013, returns to a changed New York City
Meh, although I bought Crysis 2 I did not play it due to the consolitis and the fact it did not continue the story of the original. I imagine I'll probably buy Crysis 3 for the same reason a alot of people will, the eye candy.
The recently released video showcasing some of the features of the new engine can be found here if you did not already click the link to the other article ;o http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=nMwk2Zi0c3o
