Does it have that blur plugin they demonstrated a while back?

Nobrainer on the subscription, I'm already on a £50 per month for the Master Collection!

Re: News - Adobe announces CS6 suit and new cloud subscription service

Depends on the user's needs, though.

I only use (or only use enough to be prepared to buy) Photoshop and Lightroom, the latter of which isn't included in the Master Collection, and has just halved in price anyway. Other functions (like PDF production) have become so expensive with Adobe that I use other tools entirely now. And, on Photoshop, I'm quite content with standard as opposed to extended, and I'm quite content to upgrade every third version or so, so the subscription would be a very expensive way for me to go.

So personally, not subscribing is a no-brainer. I don't even see a convincing reason to upgrade, yet.

It does seem that Adobe are very much trying to forge a price gulf, though, between consumer and enthusiast tools on the one hand, and "commercial" tools on the other, with a vast price gap between, with Lightroom going down very much the the consumer/enthusiast market, perhaps paired with Elements, and Photoshop and the other "commercial" tools being increasingly priced out of the reach of all but commercial users (and not low-end ones, either).
