like a tank! Suprised LG had that little thing sneaking around, i suppose they didnt want to get dwarfed by samsung but it appears they just got on up on samsung spec wise and it looks nice... apart from that single button! Im impressed that they put 2GB ram in there, very unusual but im glad they did as it will last longer then.
Now it looks all well and good however its LG... ive lost faith in LG and they are terrible on the software front, maybe it wont be to bad this time as they arent using tegra and tegra means its harder to get custom roms done for as Nvidia only releases the code to the OEM. Theres also the possibility that LG has turned it around now, they doubled their staff count in the mobile division late last year to sort out their software so one would assume it would have an impact. My Optimus 2x is due to have official ICS this quarter, no news as of yet but i hold a bit of hope
. If LG bring out ICS when they said they would then my faith will be restored as the handsets are solid but the software always is the let down.
Good luck LG!.
Looks a bit "slabby" to me - then again, I suppose the "industrial" look is "in" this year - e.g. Sony Xperia's.
Spec looks okay, but surely this is a bit of an irrelevant device for us in the UK since we don't really have any "proper" LTE to speak of?
Think my cash'll still be heading towards Samsung or Asus though...
This is why LG have not done any PR on this. They have a terrible reputation for software updates and support and to even compare one of their phone launches to Samsung is a complete insult and joke.
The sales figures for LG smart phones is pathetic and the handsets only ever appeal to budget buyers. Very little high end units sell at their launch prices.
The screenshot looks pretty naff as well.
