Suck it, Oracle!

I wish more patent troll lawsuits would go like this, with the troll going away with less than the lawyer fees they paid to get there... it might still be that they go away with nothing which is even better.

That's what I read elsewhere too - that the final round will be for the judge to decide how much Google have to fork out, whether it be the full whack of $200k or $0 (if he subsequently decides that the API's aren't actually subject to copyright).

I've got my fingers crossed for a "API's aren't subject to copyright" decision - mainly because that's what I think (I'm failing to see the creative input on API's) and also because I'd like a failure of this IP trolling to perhaps give pause to other trolls.
