Stick a 17w trinity in one, price it at ~ £600, and I'll consider it

Oh, and get a decent screen resolution. Hate 1366x768. 1280x720 would be preferable, frankly. At least that's a proper HD resolution, not some nasty hybrid...

wtf is wrong with having a higher resolution than 720p?! I mean sure I'd prefer a 16:10, but really you'd rather go lower? Sir I question your wisdom. *glove slap*.

The price point is what kills it imsho. If it was £700 at launch I could see it selling quite well.

No 5GHz wifi? FFS - premium laptop with some crappy wifi card. Just stick in Intel 6300 ultimate and be done with it.

Having said that, if it's got 5 hours+ of browsing battery and costs less than a grand, I might be interested...

Given that the mid range 11" Air costs £999 and is identically specced minus the processor... no contest. Apple's one hamstring (besides OS X if you don't like it) is their excessive price and this isn't significantly cheaper. Purely from a business point of view, it makes no sense to price yourself at the same level as the market leaders (especially given that the Air is due for an Ivy Bridge refresh very soon). Undercut or die!

Mac Air clone? No competition from price wise.
