I think I would be happier if they made very decent tablet and sold them for £150 - £200 instead. £80 you know too many corners have been cut.
the bit of text says 10" for £80... in the video it says £190

I got my Motorola Xoom wifi for £250 which was a perfect sweet spot for a tablet of high spec. Only down side is Motorola support for UK customers. But £200 has to be the mass penetration point for a good spec tablet. Good for MSI.
I think a tablet for around £100 would be a good price for a lower end tablet. For people on lower incomes it would be not too expensive and still get them onto the internet.
What's the display res on the 7"? Most current cheap Chinese tablets are 800x480 at this size, which is too low. For me that's what will decide if this tablet is worth anyway.
I'm not convinced the hardware will deliver on all fronts at that price point, but I think it will compete well for the eBook reader market.
I think its down to what would one really expect from a tab. for me personaly, sat nav, fast wi-fi, intuitive OS and usefull aps, decent resolution display is all I'd possibly need from tablet for my needs and could actually justify paying some 200$ for it.Quote:
