It was annoying reading about amazon appstore exclusives for android like plants vs zombies. Also they seemed to do really good offers as well.

There had been great disappointment here in the UK when it was revealed that the Kindle Fire wasn't heading our way, likewise, whilst for its size the Amazon Appstore has been extremely successful, it's limited by the scope of its US user-base when compared with the likes of Apple and Android's general app stores.

I'm not bothered by the KF not being available in the UK - if the rumours about Google are true, then there'll be quite a few decent low-cost 7" tablets.

The Appstore on the other hand, is something I'd definitely welcome coming to the UK. Actually I can't really see why they've held it to the US up until now - surely Amazon's not decided that they don't need the extra revenue?

+1 on this - heck, the "lending library" feature of AP might actually persuade me to buy a Kindle.
