Well, I think Hexus has won the small-article crown!

Well, looks like I jumped the gun with that comment :)

Who is your money on in this hugely competitive small-chip market? Can you see a clear victor in, say, five years' time? And is Intel good enough to shape the market, much as it has done in the x86 space? We'd love to hear your thoughts.
I'd actually prefer not to see an overall winner - feeling that the current "battles" between Qualcomm, Intel, NVidia and others is a healthy/good thing all round.
Personally I can't see Intel dominating this market like it has done with servers and desktops - a case of too little, too late. I also would have preferred to see Microsoft not have a preferred partner for Windows8 - again competition would be good, and I'm sure Intel could have stepped up to the plate with something good.
Biggest difference is that - chip geeks aside - most folks don't seem to care unduly about what processor powers their phone/tablet. Power/Performance seems to count for a heck of a lot more.
NVidia could do very well in this market - especially if Tegra3 etc becomes widespread in low-cost Nexus tablets etc - but on the other hand they also seem to have some issues with lack of information. I've seen much moaning on xda-devs about the "closed" nature of Tegra.
