Both TSMC and Samsung are in talks with ASML too:

There is noise that AMD are moving to 28NM bulk production with their CPUs next year. If they choose TSMC,it means they too will benefit from the investment in ASML.

According to their Q1 analyst call, AMD will fab 28nm APUs at GloFo. And, apparently, Qualcomm are moving some production to GloFo too. Although given the source of both those snippets that could all change
But I think there'd have to be something *very* wrong with GloFo's 28nm node to keep AMD away from them...
$ 0.3 billion loss and they are crying ? In corporate profit margins, thats nothing.
Oh,
Well, Hello there cutie!
I think what's mostly wrong with GF's 28m is it's MIA. Why it's taking over a year to transition from 32nm to 28nm is a mystery, and frankly doesn't look good.
