Thats because the Novelty of their games on facebook has worn off and people are not so interested anymore. Time to produce actual decent full games on mobile devices or even cheap xbox/pS2 market games.

Have you tried Drop 7? Came across it recently on android and it's very addictive. Kind of Tetris with numbers.
I think I read somewhere they gained it as an acquisition rather than developing it themselves though.

Generally though, the type of games they publish are of no interest and this news doesn't surprise me.

One reason I hate these Facebook games and most addons is that they require detailed information about you, why does any game need your date of birth, full name or any contact information. Oh yes SPAM.
We have no idea what they are going to do with that data or who it will be really sold to, I removed all apps and never intend to install another Facebook app.

    + 1

I went one step further recently as I was getting fed up with Facebook , I removed my account , stopped playing games on there I had built up for over 12 months and now I have more time in my life to do other fun stuff!

Great news, Zynga are a level of evil above even Microsoft or Apple.
