That's still pricey. Considering they were shouting for €250 mark. Only a week or so left. It's getting interesting. Hopefully NVidia with partners will wake up and give us some £220/€280 price point for ASUS/Gigabyte/MSI models with decent cooling.
Definitely too much, seeing as a 670 on Scan can be got for £287!
This will be revised and drop to around 240 but I doubt any further.
I wonder how powerful it will be , compared to GTX 670 and 7870 witch is almost the same price..?
I think its just an ASUS premium right now, as their cooler has a lot of well deserved hype behind it. For example their AMD 7850 has constantly been sold out and still holds its price as others creep downwards and its pretty much the same for all their cards with that cooler.
The cheapest GTX670 they do is the PNY XLR8 GeForce GTX 670 which they sell for around £340. The card is around £300 from around other retailers. The cheapest Asus GTX670 they do is around £35 more expensive than many other retailers.
This still puts the GTX660TI around £250 though, which is in HD7950 3GB territory. So Gibbo over at OcUK might have been correct in saying it will be HD7950 level pricing.
So this means the GTX660 non-TI will be around £200 and under.
It looks like the GTX660 will have 1152 shaders:

The GTX650TI uses the GK106:

It has 960 shaders.
