Good stuff! I'm personally holding out for WP8. Recently played on a Nokia Lumia 610 and was very impressed. I hope HTC are going to launch a Radar 2, using the same chassis as the Radar 1.
Re: News - Nokia and Microsoft: Windows Phone event on 5th September
I have yet to see an advert from Microsoft even listing possibly the biggest sell point for WP8 powered smartphones: seamless connectivity with other Windows powered devices, from desktops to ultrabooks, Surface and other Win8 tablets, even some TV sets, yet they find a place for "flux capacitor" that was in its future version powered by banana peels and similar garbage. Another Freudian slip of their ingenious marketing department? Don't get me wrong, I'm rather looking forward to WP8 Nokias in the near future, but oh boy do they fail to make us want to advertise that publicly!

Here's a tweet from Nokia hinting at a "Note" phablet type device being announced!

Nokia - offer a device with at least 32GB internal + SD card slot and removable battery and you're back in the game.

With built in 32GB, not sure there is a need for Micro SD slot. I see alot of people harp on about needing a SD slot but I (and many I suspect) don't have a need for more than 32GB in a mobile device. Just took my Xoom tablet on holiday for 2 weeks, had plenty of video and music content on it and saved all my photos from my digital camera on it. 32GB is more than enough space.

I like the Lumia 900 alot too, think the design is simple yet brilliant and windows is very slick.

I agree man.
The amount of people who say that capacities of 8gb/16gb are not enough with no sd card slot the cloud pointless with 500mb limit set by networks.

You'll never need more than 640k, amirite guys?!
Because, you know, there's no way you could ever fill all 32GB of it up with a USB cable, or a WiFi connection to your 'unlimited' home broadband copying stuff from your 4TB home media server...

Internal MicroSD card slots? No thanks. Its gonna take hours to fill one up... Painfully slow compared to internal storage over USB.

I thought at first you where been sarcastic.
But alas not.
Plenty of in SD is perfectally fast, it ultimately depends on the speed of the flash memory.
Now, when you consider how long my 16gb iPad takes to backup, compared to say the 32gb micro SD class 10 cards I have, its certainly not a bottleneck of memory.
Re: News - Nokia and Microsoft: Windows Phone event on 5th September
Advent Vega tablet I have had with class 10 micro SD was taking hours to fill up 32GB. Frustrating as hell if you want to quickly sync up few videos before going away. It felt like USB 1.0 speed as opposed to 2.0. Dunno couldn't have been dud card or something.
