@ work, we were given choice of current lumia or wait for win 8. I dont think we will have one if the colourful covers, but don't mind the look of these.
820 seems to have rounded edges, which should make it easier/ nicer to hold, but 920 looks like it doesn't. I've never stood my phone on its end, and would prefer it to be nicer in my hand, I think.
Ever used a 610? You barely notice. Most of the apps that didn't work on 256MB RAM have now been patched, though Skype still doesn't work (little point in fixing it though really - no front facing camera on the 610 and the Skype app on WP7 is absolute turd anyway).Originally Posted by directhex

I can't imagine this will have the 41MPx sensor of the 808 or the precision engineered lens as there's just no way they'll have been able to miniaturise the componoents in the relatively short space of time since the 808 came out.
I'd love to see a 20MPx sensor producing decent 5MPx oversampled images but I have a sinking feeling we won't get it, which will be a real shame if it turns out to be the case.
I suspect that it will still be a top notch camera by phone standards but nothing like the 808. Jumping on the pureview brand, which is probably the new equivalent of "cybershot". I'm sure it will share some of the software
920 needs to be available for £25 per month on a all I can eat data plan, which is the same price I can see the Galaxy S3 for.

Given that I got the 800 on a £20 pcm for only 12 months, and the 900 is currently on a £13.50 24 month, I doubt Nokia would be stupid and jack up the price.
Unless its this whole wirless charging and headset thing, then I could totall see them doing that.

I think they would be bloody stupid to sell the 820 at anything about 15-20pcm. It has to compete against the iPhone 4S on price, once the 5 is out.

Complete speculation, and I doubt it will be £40 on contract, not even the S3 or Note is £40 per month on three's one plan or T-mobile Full monty. You can also pick up a S3 sim free new for £400
I think it will settle down at £400 sim free, and the carriers will try to rape upto £31 per month for it and this will settle down. Competition will be rife when its launched because the iphone 5 will be down too. This is Nokia last chance, the won't take the piss on price.
