£15????? That's taking bloody liberties. you will probably be able to find a third party version of the dongle for a couple of quid, on ebay or amazon.

I, for one, am happy that it will sell for this price. Maybe it will finally start to dawn on people to stop feeding the biggest troll in the world...
It's nice to know that micro USB connectors will become even more popular (feature phones, etc) but I would have preferred if they called for micro USB 3.0 specifically.
Now, how about they start sorting out more pressing issues like organized crime and corruption? Or keep shaking down big corps, that works as well.
What's the point in making these adapters. Why didn't Apple just adapt the micro USB like everyone else?
And it still means that existing iPhone users who have peripherals that the phone docks with are going to have to replace them. A tacky adapter isn't going to help them.
"Free speech includes not only the inoffensive but the irritating, the contentious, the eccentric, the heretical, the unwelcome and the provocative provided it does not tend to provoke violence. Freedom only to speak inoffensively is not worth having."
Let Apple ignore this and be owned like Microsoft. The EU need some money anyway. They won't ban, they'll simply fine Apple the cost of the adapters and some more. Either way, we win, because those dumbasses that pay for this deserve to be ripped off. So essentially both parties lose money, Europe gets some pocket change.
