All of the above arguments are valid, but Apple won't do anything differently, because they'll STILL get the sales from the brain-dead sheeple-magpies.

They will capitulate if they want to sell in the EU. An EU-wide iPhone ban will soon change their minds.

It's nice to know that micro USB connectors will become even more popular (feature phones, etc) but I would have preferred if they called for micro USB 3.0 specifically.

Now, how about they start sorting out more pressing issues like organized crime and corruption? Or keep shaking down big corps, that works as well.

Let Apple ignore this and be owned like Microsoft. The EU need some money anyway. They won't ban, they'll simply fine Apple the cost of the adapters and some more. Either way, we win, because those dumbasses that pay for this deserve to be ripped off. So essentially both parties lose money, Europe gets some pocket change.
