Formatting before use is already standard practise for me, lets hope that's enough to get rid of it.
This is why i would like to see a push towards open Firmware in devices like the coreboot project. i dont trust chinese manufacturers at all nor the Chinese government.
That is why after receiving preinstaled PC I wipe it all out and install Windows from downloadable content available to everyone (yes, all Windows versions are free to download) followed by drivers.
Trust my new PC ? I keep my knives locked away for 6 months after I buy a new computer.
