Sad to see them go, some bloody great games sprung from the minds of these two! It's like the game industry is 'all grown up' now people are retiring.

I'm honestly surprised they lasted in EA's clutches as long as they did. Publisher acquired developer studios rapidly get destroyed by corporate politicking and general interference.

Well ladies and gents we have just witnessed the end of Bio-ware
Ladies and Gents this is not the end of Bioware, plenty of titles being worked on. Just because 2 well respected members of Bioware leave does not mean it is all doom and gloom. Plenty of respected programmers left Blizzard to form ArenaNet and in turn made Guild Wars 1 and 2, but Blizzard was more than fine.
Like DLUK has said, people retire when they get "bored" with things, its normal, but as per usual others use it to try and look negative... rather silly
They probably played half an hour of SWTOR and realised tha tthey weren't cut out for the game industry.
