Nexus 4 would need memory slot to make me consider it. Can't believe they would make it only 8gb
Nexus devices don't have memory slots though :(
i wouldnt assume too much from this 'leak' it smells like a cry for hits.
I really hope google are not THAT stupid.
Support documents detail 8GB and 16GB variations.

Although Google may be relying on their Play Music Player service to get away with petty internal storage and no SD slot... Even though their 'cloud' solution only works in the US, and mobile intertubes are an expensive and rubbish source to be streaming media from.
I may be out of touch but 16GB is 3000 reasonable quality bitrate songs. That's 200 hours of music. I think people get too focused on GB's for music. Films on the other hand... But then again, who the hell watches films on a 4-5" screen.
Personal cloud storage is removing the need for massive on device storage. If you're adapting to tech you may as well take it all.
No LTE, not much space. Not sure I see the point.
I wonder if it will lower the costs of a Nexus device enough to get more people interested in having a pure Nexus device? Right now I guess it is mainly people like us that are interested in them because of being pure Android, they get fast updates straight from Google as well as more updates than vendor specific handsets.
I think the Nexus 7 has pushed that brand further into the public's eye than any of the handsets before it.
Seriously 8gb and 16gb? With the prices of memory today and 2012's latest and greatest high end phone? Looks like I'm not getting a Nexus phone to match my Nexus 7 after all then :(
If the leaked £389 CPW price is accurate then the 8GB is how they "achieved" an SIII beating spec for a low or similar price, I could manage with 8GB but I\'d probably go for 16GB if the markup wasn\'t too great.
All depends on bitrate, personally my music is all 256kbps or higher... most of the newers stuff i have is in higher FLAC uncompressed format. Also have to remember you wont JUST have music you will also have apps on there and the OS takes up some of the space.
Am I actually alone in not having any media on my phone?
I just ever get round to copying anything over, I still use my iPod Classic for mobile music. "The Youth" seem to either stream music or just download individual tracks, I think most every day people do this too. I do think part of the desire for more storage on phones is to just boast about it. I often wonder just mow much is really used on average in phones and tablets.
Nah, you're not the only one.
I don't have any music, videos or other stuff on my phone. Only OS + apps.
My tablet is a different story, full of videos - training ones which I can watch on the go.
I suppose I wouldn't need any content on my devices directly if 3G packages were truly unlimited and offered decent coverage.
