I found the 16GB model sold out first. And like a lot of folk, I got the e-mail notifying me they were in stock after they had all been sold. lol - not.
Still, nice PR for google - can't wait for next round of frenzied google shambles (which i'll be a part of).
Woke up at 8.30 and by then the 16gb are already out of stock whereas the 8gb was still available.
yeah, the price is just so damned low.
I wonder if so not to upset the OEMs too much, google are limiting the supply of these devices?

I bet mobile phone operators who are selling them at twice the price have plenty in stock. I reckon this is where most of the stock is. LG have shipped them at twice the price as Google.
This "sold out" thing just hacks me off, I hate the way they so obviously do it to wind up some free hype.
Begin rant mode:
I don't care about waiting, I'm not thick so I understand it's been popular and manufacturing capacity is limited and that I'm not quick off the mark so it's partly my fault (I was on the tube underground at the time of the sell-out). What is really annoying is that I don't want to have to keep "checking back soon" just accept my fricking order then ship it to me when I reach the front of the queue like every other s*dding retailer!
You'd think Google would want the orders placed so they had some idea of the numbers they need to get manufactured and shipped... you'd think they'd be booking sales - people are less likely to get something else if an order is placed surely.
Stupid bloomin' Google - index this: *finger*

Whether Google's being evil or just a bit dippy, I hope they have their stuff sorted out by xmas. I was looking forward to buying an N10 for xmas and replacing my Note 1 asap, in fact I was going to sell it on the 13th but I went at a leisurely pace so they'd sold out before I'd finished breakfast![]()
Could be that LG have limited Google's supply of them so that people go and get them on contract or from CPW, at their RRP, not Google's...
Seriously people. Use your old phone for a couple of weeks more - it won't kill you. The buying frenzy hysteria about some of these new devices is mind-boggling.
I did a factory reset today on my Sensation - tadah - it's like having a new phone. Particularly having to set up all your apps again... I am tempted by an N4, but I can wait...
