    News - Samsung has sold 100 million Galaxy S series smartphones

    The first Samsung Galaxy S was launched in May 2010. The Galaxy S IV is not far away.

    add in that it's being reported that Apple have cut orders for iPhone 5 parts by up to 50%
    Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!

    That's because they're planning that the iPhone6 will be "exclusive" (good way to increase the profit margin!). LOL

    Actually I wasn't that impressed with the Galaxy line until I had a play with an SII in my local Three store. Decided to wait until the S3 (or SIII if you prefer) came out based on the bulk of spec rumours. Not sorry I did (even though most of the rumours turned out to be ravings) because it seems to do most things well, or at least reasonably - thankfully it came with ICS not Gingerbread. Not sure that I'll be able to afford to go to an SIV, since the big deal there seems to be LTE and I'm not interested in that at the moment.

    Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...
