..just sold my 800D as it was too big...now using a BitFenix Prodigy, looks like a pretty phat case but I'm not sure I'll be rushing out to buy it!
I needed a HTPX chassis. The 800D couldn't handle it. Had the 900D been out at the time I would have taken a serious look. It looks really well thought through and well executed. Got the Lian Li PC-90 because it's light and small on the outside, so I could fit it under my desk, and it wouldn't look the monster it is with dual Xeons and 3x580s. I decided to run the water cooling to an external radiator to get the heat out of the chassis more effectively. Two things I miss which the 900D has: space for 2 PSUs and all the cable routing behind the motherboard.
I forgot to say: good interview, knowledgeable and eloquent company representative. Thanks.
Damn, This is impressive.
I guess we'd be able to live in the 1000D.
What was your impression of the noise given the setup in that example? I'm always on the lookout for decent cooling that can remain really quiet, like the original P180 (except for the decent cooling part!!). My Lian Li is too noisy, even with good fans on low speed.
well after 13-14yrs of using my lian-li pc70 i've found a replacment .. i'm in love ..corsair have answered my prayers you can fit more than one rad without chopping and cutting ..but with a $360 price what they gonna charge over here ???hoping for a -£200 but that ant gonna happen ..
thx to hexus .. good report ..
Its the 650D but turned into a full tower and added the bottom of the Silverstone TJ07
Basically the perfect full tower case - hate to see the price though.
Linus was there talking to the same guy
Staying next to that dude and using the words "gigantic" and "ridiculously big" made me giggle... :-) Even he had to laugh.
i was gifted this on my birthday..its awesome really like it
Certainly a case that I'd like to have........preferably as a gift also
