I'm still hoping that someone picks up Vigil if only to continue the Darksiders series, Darksiders 2 has to have been my favourite game of last year (with Borderlands 2 a close 2nd).

Well it's sad news and at the same time good news. As far as I know all the franchises will be continued, specially my awaited Metro: Last Light.

Hmm, wonder why Crytek were interested in Homefront? It got well and truly panned by the critics, although I thought it was actually pretty reasonable (if a little nauseatingly jingoistic).

Fingers crossed that Koch don't decide to drop Saint's Row and instead let #4 come out as insane as some of the rumours last year were suggesting.

Also interesting to see that the WWE license remains unbought since I would have expected EA to have tried to grab that one. Not that I'm even remotely interested in any WWE-related title.

Crytek and homefront atleast makes some sense, as does take-two and evolve since it is apparently a shooter.

I dont have great faith in SEGA....hopefully COH2 isnt destroyed as THQ said its development was secured .

It's the same development teams isn't it? At least the article seems to suggest that. In which case I can't see SR4 being any worse than it would have been under THQ unless KM either try and rush it out of the door or cut the development budget. Both would be a little daft considering the money they've spent on Volition.

On the other hand Crytek/Homefront could end up delivering a better product - although it'll be interesting if the resource requirements for the delivered version of Homefront 2 (if it comes out) end up being more than there would have been under THQ's stewardship.

The 2 IP's i'm most interested in are Freespace (as mentioned above) and Homeworld. So hopefully Koch and Sega resurrect them.

Rumours are abound that Platinum Games (Bayonetta, Vanquish & Anarchy Reins fame) are interested in the Darksiders I.P so there is hope yet for Vigil.

As above - THQ was the publisher of these not the developers so unless the new buyers do a re-organisation the games that get made should be of the same quality,

Good to see that the games are still going to go on, THQ had some of my favorite games. Sad to see them go.
