Since batteries currently take up a large proportion of the phone, two tiny cell batteries are hardly going to be sufficient. Looks like this will have severely compromised battery life even if they make the entire bottom third battery.
Agreed. Transparent displays would be fantastic. Add them to glasses, car windscreens and anything else suitable for your very own HUD :)

Surely the purpose of a jacket is to keep you warm so being transparent it could be useful as you dont have to worry about the jacket matching your outfit...Quote:

I don't get it, Some bloke just showed us a bit of perspex with a couple of watch battery's so it can play that song and a micro sd card stuck in the side, I've got a bit of perspex here, I just need that and the innards out of a singing Christmas card and I've got the same thing, But they should have a working sample by the end of the year.

Transparent phones have been around. 2009 saw this phone, Sony Ericsson Pureness. Saw a guy with one (literally as a fashion accessory) and had a quick go.
